Is Vaseline a good eye makeup remover?

My neighbor uses it to get it off of her eyes, and she says it ';works like a charm';. I just want to make sure it's not bad for your eyes. Also, what does Vaseline do to make your eyelashes stronger, thicker, and longer? I always heard it did those things.

i don't know how old you are and it is none of my business if you don't want me to know. i am 36 years old with 3 girls,19,14,11. i smoke and still get carded . it may be alot of good genes . my mother never looked her age even thru 2 rounds with cancer. i would always watch her as i was growing up she always put on some kind of moisturizer. not to heavy not to light. AND YES SHE USED VASELINE NOT ONLY AS A EYE MAKEUP REMOVER BUT A WONDERFUL EYE MOISTURIZER. I also put vaseline on my eyes at night just a light coat will do because I know it works and yes i think it is SAFE. (i would use it on my baby girls areas if needed. i don't know about the eyelashes) sorry so long but i wanted it to make since. fairy mitz
I swear the best makeup remover is from Avon. It is inexpensive, works really well and does not sting your eyes. I have used it for about ten years and just bought some for my teen daughter.

you just have to make sure to not get it in your eyes.


even if you do, its not as bad as other make up removers. All you have to do is apply to where the eye makeup was, and after one wipe its gone. :)
Hmm I am not sure if VASELINE is a good eye makeup remover, I will recommend you to use NEUTROGENA EYE MAKEUP REMOVER.. it is sooooo GOOD :D
