Also, is using eye makeup remover the best way to get eyeliner off?Is it bad to get eye makeup remover in your eyes?
Your eye is the best judge. If you are getting irritation--redness, tearing, itching or pain, then you are reacting to your makeup, your makeup removal or the mechanical trauma induced by scrubbing it out.
First of all, if you have to rub hard, you ought to change your makeup remover to Lancome Bifacil or something similar. If this doesn't help, then consider the possibility that you are reacting to your makeup itself.
Take care.Is it bad to get eye makeup remover in your eyes?
well, since eye makeup remover is meant to use around the eye area, it shouldn't be harmful if you get a little in your eye while you're taking off your eye makeup. as long as you don't try and squirt huge amounts directly into your eye, you should be okay.
makeup remover is not harmful to your eyes as the chemicals are at a very low level and not dangerous. they are made to remove make up. unless you are using a solution not for make up removal purposes, don't worry. if your eyes are irritable, call the 800 number and seek medical attention immediately. in extreme cases, this would occur if you are super sensitive or have a reaction.
I use ponds cream.. comes in a small kind of oval bottle. its lotion so there's no problem!
highly recommend eye makeup remover, over baby oil, vaseline, or whatever household product you may find. eye makeup remover has been optimologist tested, and proven to be safe for the accidental eye contact. again, to the other question, try waterproof eye makeup remover if you're having trouble getting it off. It's a bit more tougher
no
Getting it into your eye is fine as long as you don't feel a shape pain in your eyes. Just rinse it with water and you should be fine.
Yes its the best way to remove eyeliner no matter waterproof or not cuz otherwise you will have to rub it off and that will cause wrinkles in the long run as the skin around the eye are much softer than the rest of the face. Remover allows you to remove the liner without rubbing. If you don't use it and is thinking of just it off with a cleanser, you will have smudges along the lower eyes and its not healthy. All throughly cleansed face is the best !
I use vaseline to get mascara and eyeliner off...it's not a good thing to get eye makeup remover in your eyes. It's honestly not good to get anything but water in your eyes.
No it is not bad for your eyes, do to the fact that it is meant for the eye. I use a product called AMBI complexion cleanse and works perfectly but do not intentionally put in your eyes while open but do it close and rub side to side.
Usually the eye makeup remover is hypoallergenic, if you get some in your eye it's just going to bug you a little but it's not going to do any damage. It's just a bit of nuisance.
The best eyeliner remover is petroleum jelly, or an emulsion based solution part water (mind you, purified water) and party oil, - preferably olive oil. You shake them together in a little dispenser bottle and pour the emulsion on a cotton ball.
I personally love the Mary Kay eye- makeup remover emulsion. I swear by it. If you know someone that is a beauty consultant with Mary Kay, you'll love it.
Otherwise, use the home fix I described for you, you're doing yourself a lot of good in the process.
Good luck!
prob.
Well. If your eyes sizzle like you just cracked an egg into a sirring hot pan, and they turn as red as your tongue when you eat them right off the bat, then yes, i'd say thats BAD.
i think makeup remover is the BEST route. just don't get it in your eye...
