Which one of the CLINIQUE EYE-MAKEUP REMOVERS work the BEST?

please be specific in which one.Which one of the CLINIQUE EYE-MAKEUP REMOVERS work the BEST?
someone else just asked a very similar question. this is what i said to her:

CLINIQUE TAKE THE DAY OFF *BALM*, all the way!!!!

i wear the exact same stuff as you: waterproof mascara %26amp; MAC Fluidline, and it works like a charm! and we have similar skin: mine is suuuper-sensitive and prone to eczema, rashes, bumps, you name it. Clinique's Take the Day off LIQUID actually gave me irritation. but the BALM in the tub is fabulous. and you don't need harsh paper products to use it, which i love. just gently massage in the balm and it totally melts off the makeup, then rinses clean! i love it, and i love the clean feeling afterward, and knowing i didn't hurt my poor delicate eye skin. :DWhich one of the CLINIQUE EYE-MAKEUP REMOVERS work the BEST?
why don't you just use the cheap normal stuff? They all work the same. Buy maybelline or something. All they have to do is take off eye makeup. If it's off then it's off... how can one do it better?

  • What skin care products/line do you like the best? Why? i.e., face wash, eye makeup remover, etc,?

Face wash, face wipes, eye makeup remover, toner,eye/undereye creams, face/day/night creams, blemish/acne treatment,....and anything else you use.

I mostly use the Nivea Visage Line, but there are some others.

Face Wipes-Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing towelettes(these take everything off!) and I use Olay daily facials express wet(I love the texture!)

Eye Makeup remover-Oil free eye makeup remover by Neutrogena(gets Everything off!)

Toner-Nivea Visage Moisturizing toner(it smells great, skin feels refreshed)

Eye Creme-Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle reducer(love the smell/texture, not too greasy)

Day Creme-Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle reducer(love for the same reasons as above)

Night Creme-Nivea Visage Q10 Advanced Wrinkle reducer(same as above)

Blemish/acne treatment-Clean %26amp; Clear maximum strength Invisible Blemish treatment(really reduces size/redness. usually after the 1st use)

Face Wash-I want to try the Nivea Visage gentle cleansing and eye makeup removerWhat skin care products/line do you like the best? Why? i.e., face wash, eye makeup remover, etc,?
i use neutrogena to remove makeup bc it is slick and justs wipes it right off, clean and clear for face wash as well as st.ives apricot scrub to exfoliate skin, and attitude product from the dead sea as a face cleanser (can be bought at the mall from those people from isreal!) and i use clinique products for moistirizers and preventon of wrinkles but i hear este lauder is great for the face in terms of preventing it from aging and dark spots, it is just expensive. What skin care products/line do you like the best? Why? i.e., face wash, eye makeup remover, etc,?
    clinique and marykay
I love Biore's line. All of it. I use their Ice Cleanser everyday, along with the oil-free moisturiser that I can't remember the name of right now. I also use Maybellines pure concealer. It has acne medication in it and I put that on whenever I happen to get a pimple.

Is it true that olive oil is good as a natural eye makeup remover?

i saw this video on youtube

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lc-8onVA5鈥?/a>

and for sure i was amazed! but when i asked my sister, she told me it will make the skin more fat..

(french: elle m'a dit que la peau deviendra plus grasse)

    is it true??? est-ce vrai??

*even if i rarely put makeup, i just wanna know..just in case i become

crazy about makeup or something...Is it true that olive oil is good as a natural eye makeup remover?
no, no, forgive me, but i believe your sister is wrong.

of course it works. i've been using it--and i wear a lot of makeup pretty much daily. haha. it moisturizes your skin, and takes off your makeup easily. think of using conditioner on your hair--basically the same thing with this. it doesn't make the skin fatter or whatever, just makes it healthier and pretty =]

also--use extra virgin olive oil. it leaves your skin, when you're not wearing any makeup, shining and radiant =]Is it true that olive oil is good as a natural eye makeup remover?
Yes, it removes eye makeup and conditions the lashes.

How would olive oil make the skin more fat? That's false and simply doesn't make sense.

Olive oil is better than baby oil because it's natural. Baby oil is a by-product of making gasoline. And olive oil is better than traditional makeup remover because you're not putting any chemicals on your skin.

    Olive oil is a win-win
Olive Oil can indeed be a great and inexpensive beauty tool for many people. It depends on your skin. It doesn't work on fairer skin. I鈥檝e used olive oil as part of my beauty routine for years. My italian grandmother swore by it. Use cold pressed extra virgin olive fresh oil for best results. Olive oil that has been chemically derived does not work as well. It is sometimes hard to tell for certain whether oil is rancid, if there is any doubt, don鈥檛 use it. Try to replace your oil often and store carefully (in cool dry place) in a tightly capped bottle.
wow i knew it was meant to keep your skin great but i didnt know it removed MAKE-UP!! O.o thank you SO much for pointing this vid out! coz im like allergic to TONNES of stuff on my face! YES! finally! XD

im sure it must be true tho now i think of it! WOW! nooo i dont think olive oil can make skin more fat from the outside.... no. i'm certain.

    thankyouthankyouTHANKYOU! :D xx
I'm sure it will take off the make-up easily- try anything with an oil-base (hand cream, lotion, etc) and it will do the trick but I don't know anything about making the skin plump. Your best bet is to use it in moderation.
m not sure but i do know that ponds cold cream is awesome and gets off all makeup especially waterproof eye makeup. its cheap and can be found in drugstores..anywho, hope i helped..=)
Olive oil is great for your skin in general, and yes it does work very well as a makeup remover. I have never heard of it making your skin fatter
Yes it is true, plus there is no chemicals in it. It will condition your eyelashes!
Olive oil is a great eye makeup remover - Baby oil works really well too.
Um, i dn't know but i use baby oil to remove make up and that works well so you might want to try that too (:
It works but it will make your skin oily.
idk but use lotion it works reall good..like to get off eye liner

Have anyone used used the brand Simple? Is the eye makeup remover good and can it be used for the face?

heard tt it i non oily formula, but i am not too sure.wld like to gathr opinions before i buy =)Have anyone used used the brand Simple? Is the eye makeup remover good and can it be used for the face?
Its used as both. if you want to use it to remove makeup it works :] but its also really good for your skin!Have anyone used used the brand Simple? Is the eye makeup remover good and can it be used for the face?
its really good, it bland and fresh, their toner is lovely too....

Where can I buy Christian Dior Instant Eye Makeup Remover?

I have very sensitive eyes and this is the only eye makeup remover that works well on me. I just ran out of it and need to buy a new one. However, I'm having trouble finding it. It looks like this:

    http://static.cosmeticmall.com/images/pr鈥?/a>

Does anyone know where I can buy it either online or at a store? I found it at ascentofclass.com but they refunded my money so I assume they don't have the product.

How do you use vaseline as a eye makeup remover?

I've been hearing people/makeup gurus using vaseline as a EYE makeup remover. Not whole face, as i know ppl tend to say it clogs pores, etc.

I've just started trying it when my makeup remover ran out last night and i tried it. However, i thought that it was a bit difficult when i used a cotton pad to wipe over (like how i normally use makeup remover), it felt like it was harsh on my delicate eye area.

Am i doing it wrong? Is there another way of using it? How do YOU use it?

Thanks. How do you use vaseline as a eye makeup remover?
do it delicately and try putting some vaseline on a cotton swab (q-tip) and then try and take off the make-up on your eye with itHow do you use vaseline as a eye makeup remover?
If you're open to trying something besides vaseline, I have a great product for you...It's called Camellia Oil and it's absolutely fabulous for removing all kinds of eye makeup, even stubborn eyeliner and mascara. The best part, it's completely natural and doesn't clog pores. It's also a great moisturizer.....I never use anything else since I tried this and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.....I got mine on Ebay for about 12 bucks, but it lasts forever.....
Put a little dab wherever you have your eye makeup. Them rub it off with a tissue. That's how I do it, and it always works.
u dont. it makes ur face oily and shouldnt be used around ur eyes

try extra virgin olive oil instead: put some on a cotton pad and wipe it around ur eyes

What's a good drugstore brand eye makeup remover?

I'm about to finish up my 3rd bottle of Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover (the blue bottle with bronze cap) but this stuff blocks ducts on my eyelid and my top eyelid always gets so puffy and tender to the touch. Owwie. Makes you wonder why I'd be on my third bottle if it did that. lol

So I'm looking for another at the drugstore level. What are your picks? Convince me!What's a good drugstore brand eye makeup remover?
Almay Non-Oily eye makeup removers are amazing! THe pads are reallllllllllly great! If you wear light eyemakeup it should take about one for both eyes, and if you wear it heavy it should take about one full one for each eye. Trust me, my sister wears really heavy eye makeup (MAC pigments, three different kinds of MAC eyeshadow, liquid liner, pencil liner, eyebrow pencil, mascara, fake eyelashes, and eyelash glue). These little things get EVERYTHING off! What's a good drugstore brand eye makeup remover?
    i use neutrogena
maybelline has a good one that i use. i dont know how 2 convince u other than saying...USE IT! =P
I use Eye Q's. They are moistend pads that they sell at Walgreens. Very cheap but work great. You'll find it by the fake nails and the tweezer section.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover takes off even waterproof eye makeup without leaving an oily residue.

  • Swollen eyelids after using eye makeup remover???

ive been allergy tested twice im not allergic to anything im only 16 it started when i was 15 every single morning when i wake up my upper eyelid is swollen

this also happens after washing my face/splashing water on it

and when i cry my eyelids do not just get puffy both my upper and lower lids swell up to the size of a golf ball they get huge

also i never wear makeup but recently for a wedding i did and when i used neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover my upper eyelids swelled past my eyelash line

sometimes it lasts for 2 hours when i awake and then goes down.sometimes it goes down but not all the way and along my lashline stays swollen all day.

WHAT IS CAUSING THIS????Swollen eyelids after using eye makeup remover???
I'm sorry..don't have a good answer for you.

Just letting you know that my son gets these big 'hives' around his eyes after he crys or gets upset.

I asked the doctor and he told me its uncommon, but no big deal. Sorry, I can't be more help. I'd like to know why too!Swollen eyelids after using eye makeup remover???
go to ur doctor. it could be a serious allergy that was not on the allergy test you recieved. those tests dont include all allergens in the world so get it checked out.
i feel so bad for you, I think only a doctor can answer that!
try reading the bottle off makeup remover, it probably has a line that says '; discontinue use if irritation occurs'; if irritation persists, see your physician'; stop using it, and stop wearing eye makeup for awhile, it could just be a minor infection that is irritated by the cleanser, if after awhile your try it again your body might have healed enough to provide an immunity to what is irritating your skin and won't be a problem anymore, also, after discontinuing for awhile you could switch cleansers and see if that helps, but you should at least go make up free for about two weeks first

Could I be allergic to eye makeup and eye makeup remover?

My eyes get irritated and water like crazy after I've taken my eye makeup off. The remover I'm using is oily kinda like baby oil. I don't get any in my eyes but it still does this and drives me insane. I wear the works; eyeshadow, mascara, liner...they're your average run of the mill stuff like Jane, Wet %26amp; Wild, Maybelline, Cover Girl (I have a variety of stuff).

So I've always wondered if perhaps I'm allergic to this crap especially when I had a real bad case of the irritation yesterday.

Sometimes it even makes my nose run! could I be allergic????Could I be allergic to eye makeup and eye makeup remover?
I used to be allergic to Maybelline mascara and am still allergic to L'Oreal make up, even the lipstick/gloss. You most certainly can be allergic. It sounds like you're allergic to the make-up remover rather than the actual eye make-up. Try using another remover, hypoallergenic. If that doesn't help, you might call a dermatologist and ask them to recommend a product or type of product that might help. Either way, discontinue the use of your current make-up remover immediately to avoid possible permanent damage to your eyes!Could I be allergic to eye makeup and eye makeup remover?
I don't see why not. I use to be in community theater and had the worst time with makeup. I was so allergic I could not even wear it for Halloween.
    You could be.

Try something different. Baby lotion is actually good for removing make up and mild on your skin.
Yes, it could be an allergic reaction. I am also allergic to make-up. Try not wearing any for a couple of days and see if your symptoms clear up!
You could be, or it could be old, some of that stuff has a very short life before it turns bad,

Do you bring eye makeup remover in your purse??

Sometimes, I'm having a hard times when my eyeliner smudges at the middle of the day... if i'm at home, i can just use eye makeup remover on tips and tap it on the smudges... but if i'm not at home,, i'm totally freaked out because it def. looks disgusting...

so how do you guys solve this?? i mean,, DON'T SAY ';USE REVLON COLORSTAY'; or that kind of things.. because basically i'm using revlon colorstay and it rarely smudges.. but sometimes,, when i sweat or whatsoever, it leaves a black spot or dot under my eyes...

so the question will be : DO YOU BRING EYE MAKEUP REMOVER IN YOUR PURSE just in case your eyeliner smudges???Do you bring eye makeup remover in your purse??
i do bring my makeup remover with me sometimes but i have a small bottle that can fit in my pursee then just use it wen u go into the bathroom.Do you bring eye makeup remover in your purse??
i carry two folded up makeup remover pads (the round soft ones), soaked in makeup remover, in a little container that use to have lip balm in it. it's easy, cheap and never leaks. you don't need to worry about trying to use tissues with your makeup remover either.

you can also buy packets of makeup remover wipes, or cue tips with makeup remover in the stems, but i find them a bit bulky and expensive.
revlon has the product called the makeup eraser pen, which looks like a pen, but it has makeup remover in it. it is so easy to use, but it leaves oily residue, so you need to have tissues to wipe off where you used it a little bit.

it is really great and i think they have it for a discount at publix, yay!

just remember revlon makeup eraser pen!
Well me personally i put makeup on in the AM and take it off at night and it stays ALL day. That's the benefit of using quality products. Maybe you should change your products or look into using waterproof products or wearing eye primer. If you want to carry makeup remover then that's cool too. Just pack some q-tips to only remove what you want and some foundation to touch of the foundation. Click the link below to see great products that last.
    use a liquid liner maybe

i dont like colorstay :P i use elizabeth arden for my eyeliners (pencil) and never have to re-touch now

i keep cleansing wipes in my bag incase anything smudges or i spill something! or its hot! just good to have, you can always wrap them around a pen tip, for precision and then dispose of the wipe, pen back in bag haha

    hope this helps hey
No I don't, it I have a makeup emergency I go to the bathroom, wet a paper towel a little bit and wipe it, then wipe it with a dry part of the paper towel to take it off. It's not the softest option but I don't want to carry a bottle of makeup remover on me I carry enough stuff as it is!
I bring these great little things made by Bare Escentuals called on the spot. They are q-tips filled with a little bit of eye make up remover. If I find a smudge I just break the top to release the liquid to the cotton and fix them. Here is a link to them:

    http://www.amazon.com/Bare-Escentuals-On鈥?/a>

Actually I bring the makeup, not the makeup remover lol cause I'm constantly retouching my eyeliner. I know what you mean cause mine always smudges too. I touch it up a lot and basically just use my finger to take the smudges away.
No I don't, if your eyeliner smudges take your pinky finger and wet it and rub it right under your eye it comes off, I do it all the time.
a good beauty tip is to bring q-tips and unscented lotion!

it works better than eye make up remover!

    do mine?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
no i usually just bring the eyeliner itself and touch-up throughout the day
I take q tips in my purse....wet a lil and clean off the smudge! i dont know if ur into bare minerals but they have q tips with make up remover in them which is totally cool for on the go!!!
No I don't bring eye makeup remover in my purse.
no i never wear make up.
no b/c my makeup never smudges (i have dry skin)...
I used to and I really really don't recommend it! Because I use a lot of waterproof makeup I need really strong makeup removers to get it off, so my Maybelline Eye Makeup Remover is actually oil-based which is actually very useful. But one day I was carrying it in my NEW bag and I didn't shut the lid properly and it spilled in my bag... oily gunk everywhere. Not very nice.

My eyeliner/eyeshadow/mascara smudges as well. What I do is bring a mirror in my bag so I can check every so often, and usually the black smudges disappear with a wipe of my finger. I think I've actually mastered the eyebag-finger-sweep action enough to do it without a mirror! It works perfectly fine, although you do need to check every few hours or so.

Mary Kay. But I'm biased I'm an MK consultantMary-kay vs clinique EYE MAKEUP REMOVER!!!?
I'm gonna go with neither, lol... I used to buy expensive ones from Macy's and none of them worked super well, and I went to shopko one day and bought they neutrogena eye makeup remover, i swear to god, get a cottonball moist with it, and you can rub it off completly so fast! It's amazing, definatly try it though, like 6 bucks!
    Mary Kay is the best!
mary kay has the #1 eye makeup remover and is good for removing waterproof eye makeup
neither. mary kay is too oily and clinique isn't efficient for waterproof makeups. i use lancome. :)
    clinique probably is the best
I personally LOVE the Mary Kay remover, hands down.. I've also used neutrogena, oil of olay, you name it, but MK was by far the best.. believe me, I've tried them all!! Hope that helps :)
    Clinique
I used to buy expensive ones too. Now I moisten the cottonball with water and use J%26amp;J baby shampoo. It takes all the makeup off and doesn't sting my eyes like the remove did.

    Problem with eye makeup remover?

i only wear eyeliner and mascara, but at the end of the day when i try to remove it some always gets in my eye somehow and makes my vision all fuzzy. i am worried that this might permanently ruin my vision or damage it so what should i do? yesterday i tried cold cream but that also got in my eye and fuzzed up my vision even worse!

and i cant just squeeze my eyes shut really hard because that way my eyelids will touch eachother and hide the eyeliner and mascara i want to remove

    help please!

(ps. when it got into my eye last night i just put in eyedrops and i wake up with no problems, but its still very irritating every night when i have to blink constantly to see)Problem with eye makeup remover?

i also wear mascara and eye liner and i had the same problem, but the best way i learned to do it was using make-up removing cloths. it is a lot safer than cold cream or liquid remover. i only use the liquid removers for when i need to get the dark circles from under my eyes caused by the mascara.....good luck!
I know this might sound weird but it works really well.

put baby oil on a cotton ball and use that to remove the mascara and eyeliner. it works perfectly and then just rinse off with water

Eyes had a reaction to eye makeup remover...can i still wear my contacts?

ok a few days ago i had an allergic reaction to a new brand of eye makeup remover (it was the equate walmart brand NEVER buy it)..and my eyes were all red and burning and sore, so i left my contacts for a couple days...right now they feel mostly better, just a tinyyy bit sore and red....but i'm going out tonight with friends and i refuse to wear my glasses out (they're a massive prescription....a 12 if that means anything to you).....would it be doing any harm to just wear my contacts for 3 or 4 hours?Eyes had a reaction to eye makeup remover...can i still wear my contacts?
This happened to me, but with clear eyes wal-mart brand. I went with out my contacts for about 4 or 5 days (and it sucked). Then I put in my contacts and it was fine. I think you should be ok to wear your contacts again. If you put them in and they burn, then you might have to go with your glasses. Hope this helps.

  • I spilled eye-makeup remover on my laptop?

So I spilled some oily eye makeup remover on the outside of my macbook, and it seemed fine after I wiped off as much as I could from the outside. I didn't clean out the inside til a few hours later because I assumed none had gotten inside. It seemed fine and everything works OK, but i have two large black spots on the side of my screen and I don' know if i is wet inside there or if my screen is ruined? I don't know if it's possible to fix and I bought it about 10 months ago, what should i do?I spilled eye-makeup remover on my laptop?
Return it to Apple. Explain what happened. It should be covered under warranty. Be honest.

The screen is ruined. Most like the chemical in the remover penetrated the screen and damaged the LCD. Nothing you can do but have the screen replaced. Oil and Liquid Crystal Displays don't mix well.I spilled eye-makeup remover on my laptop?
You know, the laptop screen is not a mirror! Try removing your makeup on the bathroom over the sink like normal people.Anyway, there are good computer deals for memorial day.
You should be under warranty. Get a replacement.

Why is my eye makeup remover irritating my eyes?

I'm not allergic to anything, but it's oil-free store brand (publix).... Does that have anything to do with it??? Please help! I don't want to use it again till I find out what it is?!?!?!?!?!?Why is my eye makeup remover irritating my eyes?
don't even waste money on makeup remover. its no good for your skin and it burns and its just a big waste.

use vaseline, that's what I do.

just close your eye and put some vaseline on with your finger and then get a damp towel or some toilet paper to wipe it off. the makeup comes right off. it never burns as long as you close your eyes...

but make sure you wipe off all the vaseline before putting on new makeup because if you put makeup over some vaseline residue the new make up won't stay on at allWhy is my eye makeup remover irritating my eyes?
Something in the remover is obviously causing you to have a allergic reaction. A Pharmacist may be able to look at the ingredients %26amp; give you an answer. A Dermatologist can also give you an answer. Stop using it by all means %26amp; cleanse your face with a facial wash or whatever you're using on the rest of your face.
I sometimes get that. but now i have switched to make up reamover for sensitive skin, it really helps i reccomend the johnsons one. :)
maybe you are putting it too near your eyes.

like eyeliner, if you put it on the exact bottom lid, it folds into your eye and touches it.

if your eyeshadow is dusty, it will go into your eye before you even put finishing touches to your makeup.

mascara goes in it if you blink alot whilst putting it on.

if you use anyother eye makeup im sure there is a reason, just ask!!

    :)
    go to makeupalley.com

before you buy any products you can see what other peoples reviews are. and they actually rate the products. so its pretty neat.
you might be allergic or i could be going to close to your eyes!

Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?

Most eye makeup removers are oil-free and you really shouldn't have to worry about them on the rest of your face or cloging pores. However it is not enough to clean to rest of your skin. The eye make not a cleanser (you do not need a cleanser for your eyes because your eylids do not have pores) the remover will just break up the make up on your eyes so it can be wiped off gently.(It doesn't actually clean.) So on the rest of your skin the eyemakeup remover can ';break up'; the makeup but that can be a little pricy since you'll still need a cleanser! I am a cosmetologist. Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
it would be ok as long as you wash it off and not leave it on as it may clog your pores. ive used eye makeup remover on my face because i had no makeup wipes left and i had no problems. Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
yes why not,but is it costly
Yes, it is gentle so it won't hurt the skin. It may be a bit heavy and could clog pores. But maybe not.
Eye makeup remover tends to be very greasy. If you use this on your skin, it will cause oiliness.
It should be fine unless you have very oily or very sensitive skin. Otherwise it will not cause a problem...because it is made for the most delicate skin on your face which is around your eyes.
Yes, it can remove makeup around delicate eye areas and it can surely remove makeup on the rest of the face. If you are using those oil+water ones, remember to cleanse your face with a facial cleanser afterwards, you dont want the oil to clog your pores.
use Vaseline, it feels greasy but the molecules in it are larger than our pores so it wont be absorbed into the skin, and its alot cheaper. Just wipe it off when your done, oh an use a small amount

Can i use eye makeup remover 2 remove my face makeup?

sure you can... i think they just put ';eye'; in eye make-up remover so you'd buy another make-up remover for your face.. which results in them making more money!!! it's a make-up remover anyhow... it removes make-up wherever it is!!! and also i use it all the time... and it works on my face as wells as my eye area....Can i use eye makeup remover 2 remove my face makeup?

I'm sure it'd be wasteful if you did it all the time. Try good old fashioned soap and water instead, and keep the eye makeup remover for your eyes.
Yes, but I love Pond's cold cream. It removes even waterproof eye makeup and all face make up.

Apply a bit and rub gently. You can tissue or wash it off. I prefer washing it off with a gentle facial cleanser.
Yes, it'll take any makeup off, it's heavy in oils though so make sure you wash your face very well after you use it or it could cause you to break out.
i do. just test it on a small area of ur skin just in case.

It works well. I worked selling the stuff at a department store years ago. Many people swore by it, the ingredients are gentle and very basic. However, it wasn't so good for those wearing contacts because of the oil/water mix.Rate this CLINIQUE EYE MAKEUP REMOVER!!?
It's really great for extra sensitive eyes and it's not oily like most makeup removers. the downsides are you might have to use a bit more than usual if you wear alot of make up and it costs more than store brands.

    Using Eye Makeup remover wrong?

Hi, I use the Nuetrogena remover for waterproof eye makeup remover on cotton pads for Great Lash mascara. It says it removes waterproof makeup without rubbing/tugging/pulling. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong but it sure takes a LOT of rubbing to get my mascara off. Even after I've been rubbing for a while it still doesn't get every bit off, which leaves smudges in the morning! It also sometimes takes out lashes! I am getting very frustrated. I have tried holding the soaked pad on their for a little while to no avail. What should I do?Using Eye Makeup remover wrong?
Just use baby oil, it works better anyway. Then wash your face after you remove the make up. Using Eye Makeup remover wrong?
I never use eye make up remover . It's too oily. I wear Mayballine Intense XXL mascara (waterproof) and water proof liner and all I use to remove it is ponds cold cream. Dip your fingers in the cold cream and dab it on your eyes. Massage it (DON';T OPEN YOUR EYES) for about 15 seconds and smooth over your face (takes off other makeup too) Wet a washcloth with hot-warm water and rub off! It takes me two minutes to take off all my make up and most of it is the water heating up! Good luck!
waterproof mascara is only hard to get off if you put too much on, so be careful about that. If you only put a couple of coats and it STILL won't come off with the remover then I suggest trying a different remover, but someone else suggested baby oil and thats what I use....it also works to make your skin feel silky
i have been in your situation too!!! waterproof mascara is a burden to take off!!! it takes soooo much rubbing and soooo much tugging and sooooo much pulling!!! in the end i thought warm water was better than all those products that claim to 'remove' waterproof mascara!!! and after that i just decided to get non-waterproof mascara!! it will save you a hell of a lot of trouble!!! ------- hope i was of some help xoxoxox
I use the same products as you and it doesn't take me long to take my mascara off.

Maybe you are not using the eye make-up remover properly? With the oil-free Neutrogena, you have to shake it well before using. That's how it is activated.
    Safe, cheap and fast way.

I prefer using cheap sorbelene cream rub, then tissue to wipe off.

Wash my face to remove any excess.

I think the eye make up remover doesn't work as it claims too, I use some before. I find this method is the best
    ha!

    Any kind of oil!

I use it all the time for my eyeliner and mascara, it works great!

    You could use...

Vegetable Oil, Grape Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Baby Oil, or just any oil. It really works, and it's easy to do.

Just put the oil on a cotton ball and rub your eyes. [[:
Maybe you should try a natural product. Do you know what is in the makeup that you are allergic to? If you do, try and get some without that in it.
    Try any of these!

i am using this eye makeup remover.

i would rate it an 8.

    it's really good.
i think that mary kay has the best eye makeup remover
hey, lol yiaa i use it! yia it's really good i'd rate it a 10! :-)
i prefer the loreal one, but the lancome on is also good. it effectively removes your makeup and feels fresh. and doesn't hurt your eyes.
That ones good but clinque has really good ones too.
Mary Kay is the best Ive that Ive used. If that stuff could clean off the makeup I had to wear (caked on eye liner, mascara, and smoky eye shadow) in my makeup class for school thats no 1 for me because that stuff is almost impossible to remove. That was my test to see how good the stuff really works and wow it got it all off!! 10

    Problem with eye makeup remover?

i only wear eyeliner and mascara, but at the end of the day when i try to remove it some always gets in my eye somehow and makes my vision all fuzzy. i am worried that this might permanently ruin my vision or damage it so what should i do? yesterday i tried cold cream but that also got in my eye and fuzzed up my vision even worse!

and i cant just squeeze my eyes shut really hard because that way my eyelids will touch eachother and hide the eyeliner and mascara i want to remove

    help please!

i also wear mascara and eye liner and i had the same problem, but the best way i learned to do it was using make-up removing cloths. it is a lot safer than cold cream or liquid remover. i only use the liquid removers for when i need to get the dark circles from under my eyes caused by the mascara.....good luck!
I know this might sound weird but it works really well.

put baby oil on a cotton ball and use that to remove the mascara and eyeliner. it works perfectly and then just rinse off with water

Hope this helps.

    go to makeupalley.com

before you buy any products you can see what other peoples reviews are. and they actually rate the products. so its pretty neat.
Something in the remover is obviously causing you to have a allergic reaction. A Pharmacist may be able to look at the ingredients %26amp; give you an answer. A Dermatologist can also give you an answer. Stop using it by all means %26amp; cleanse your face with a facial wash or whatever you're using on the rest of your face.
maybe you are putting it too near your eyes.

like eyeliner, if you put it on the exact bottom lid, it folds into your eye and touches it.

if your eyeshadow is dusty, it will go into your eye before you even put finishing touches to your makeup.

mascara goes in it if you blink alot whilst putting it on.

if you use anyother eye makeup im sure there is a reason, just ask!!

    :)
don't even waste money on makeup remover. its no good for your skin and it burns and its just a big waste.

use vaseline, that's what I do.

just close your eye and put some vaseline on with your finger and then get a damp towel or some toilet paper to wipe it off. the makeup comes right off. it never burns as long as you close your eyes...

but make sure you wipe off all the vaseline before putting on new makeup because if you put makeup over some vaseline residue the new make up won't stay on at all
you might be allergic or i could be going to close to your eyes!

    EYE MAKEUP REMOVER ????!!!! ?

what is the best eye make up remover that i can find like at target or something plz help ????!!!! and does anybody know what eye makeup remover bill kaulitz uses ????!!!! EYE MAKEUP REMOVER ????!!!! ?
Vaseline is an incredible makeup remover.EYE MAKEUP REMOVER ????!!!! ?
It depends on your type of skin. Cleansing removers work better as they don't dry out your skin or irritate the area- Decl茅or or Dermalogica are great as is hypoallergenic and soothing, and can both be bought on the internet. If you're still not sure go and ask someone who works at a make-up counter as they'll know what's best for you :)

I have no idea what idea Bill Kaulitz uses but it must be good.
One of the most effective (and cheap!) ways to remove eye makeup is just plain, old Vaseline. Just rub a little dab onto your eye area (you don't need to wet the skin with water...just apply the Vaseline by itself), gently rub in with your fingertip, and then use a soft tissue to wipe it off.

It's very effective, even on waterproof mascaras and/or dark colored eye shadows. Women have been using it for years!

    ---%26gt;Good Luck!
    AVEENO ULTRA-CALMING FOAMING CLEANSER

With naturally calming feverfew, a natural ingredient related to chamomile, this light foaming cleanser helps visibly reduce redness and calm dry, irritated or sensitive skin while gently cleansing. It lifts away dirt, oil, and make-up without over-drying or aggravating even very sensitive skin. This cleanser is gentle enough to use every day

It takes off my waterproof stuff
    I use this;

    http://pics.drugstore.com/prodimg/34877/200.jpg

It's oil free so your face won't feel greasy and such after.

And it's only like 3 or 4 bucks at Target.

Theirs also a pink bottle for waterproof makeup, but it's oily so your skin feels nasty after, unless you wash it.

    Hopefully that helped you.

    :D
the best eye makeup remover is...baby oil!! i use it allll the time and it wipes away the mascara, eye shawdow, eyeliner, etc. All u do is put a little of it on some toilet paper. i use the Johnson %26amp; Johnson kind that u can find almost anywhere.
I like the eye makeup remover by sonia kashuk at target. You just have to get some cotton pads or something to put it on. They work the best. I have no idea what bill kaulitz uses to remove his makeup..
I don't know the one that Bill Kaulitz uses, but I use one by Almay that is no where near as oily as the others that advertise being oil free.

Any Eye makeup remover by almay is great.
my favorite is the clinique makeup remover which works on eyes too (it comes in a purple bottle) and can be bought in pretty much any department store
Rimmel's eye makeup remover....it takes off foundation, water proof mascara too and it doesn't sting.
well maybe you should use vaseline, its works perfectly and my gma uses it and she doesn't have wrinkles around her eyes, hope this helped! Its good stuff....

I have used tons of removers! I like to use babyoil. Yes, it is oily but you can use toilet tissue to wipe off the remaining bit of oil.

I may be wrong for using this,, but I have dry eyes instead of oily.

I find that it it a lot quicker, because I use a lot of mascara. and I don't want to have to tug on my eyes to get off the mascara.

good luck,, I am sure Lancome is good....I haven't used it... but anything they have is great... but pricey.
EB5 Cold Cream, I Swear By It!
I love Cliniques make up remover it's for eye make up as well as any other makeup. It's gentle and works the best I have found. I have tried Maybaline, Este Lauder, and Cover Girl's remover and Clinques doesn't sting my eyes or leave a greasy goo after I have washed it off. I have used the Take the Day Off Make Up Remover for Lids, Lashes, %26amp; Lips. But they have other remover products you may find you like better. I use their skin care line as well and it's wonderful too! I buy mine at the Macy's beauty counter but you should be able to find them at any department store or order online through the link below. Good luck!
My mom gets this stuff from Avon - it works wonders. I dont know the name of it though. I hope this was atleast midly helpful.
    almay
I use baby oil. It works twice as good as a clenser and its good for your skin too!! =DD
dove makeup remover. I like it. it's nice and light and doesn't leave you dry.
almay oil free eye makeup remover pads. they are these amazing circular pads, 1 is good for 2 eyes and you don't have to rinse.
my friend puts lotion on her eye, not fully rubbing it in, and uses a q-tip to wipe off the makeup and lotion together.
    Lancome, brilliant stuff.

    for eyes or face?

eyes: avon's lostion works really well. so does baby lotion.

face: just get a face cleanser that removes makeup.

it works better than a lotion or liquid

bc your acually washing it away.
lotion. non scented be careful use a q-tip it works
the wave it's great for you skin also it's just a great product but i wouldn't spend the money on it for the pimples and skin what i do i take a bar of dove soap and take warm water on my face and make it really wet and also the bar and then clean it off with the same temp. water then wash it off with cold water in the morning and afternoon but try it with the make up im not sure if it works but try it, it's cheap and works for you skin!
i loveeee my covergirl makeup remover.

Lancome Bi-Facil makeup remover is the only product I've found that works in one swipe and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes. You can buy it at Macy's or Nordstrom or directly from Lancome at lancome-usa.com.
i use a clinique make up remover.
I love Benefit's eye and face makeup remover. it's called Gee...That Was Quick. It'll remove all my eye make-up (i'm not sure about water proof make-up) and it doesn't leave a greasy residue. and you can use it on the rest of your face too if you need to.
    try Noxzema

    Fragrance Free Eye makeup remover???

Does anyone know of a good (and inexpensive) fragrance free eye makeup remover? I like the Neutrogena Oil-Free one, but it still seems to have a fragrance to it which irritates my eyes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Fragrance Free Eye makeup remover???
Try Mary Kay's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover ($14). It doesn't have any fragrance, and is great for contacts.Fragrance Free Eye makeup remover???
garnier clean and fresh the green bottle it says eye makeup rempover really good =D or teh nivea blue bottle one
Try witch hazel extract... its completely natural, dirt cheap, and you can find it in any drug store (usually on a bottom rack somewhere, near the rubbing alcohol). It's a natural skin toner, and used to be used to stop bleeding; try it on shaving nicks, it works wonders!

I've also used petrolium jelly when my eyes are feeling particularly sensive. Then there's Pond's cold cream (or noxema)... its the old fasioned way to go.
    unsented soap and water
I've used Maybelline's oil-free makeup remover forever. I have sensitive skin too, and this doesn't irritate me. Also it's inexpensive!
Mary Kay's oil free eye make-up remover is non-scented %26amp; works great.

Check out the website below for pricing.
Try Mary Kay's oil free make up remover. Its super gentle. I have really sensitive eyes too, and it takes off all your other make-up.
    Try Almay's wipes.
Marcelle Makes an entire line of sensitive products that are fragrance free and irritant free. I would recommend them.
Avon has a renowned eye-makeup remover. as for the witch hazel answer, i wouldn't recommend that for sensitive eyes since it comes in solution with alcohol.
    Try L'Oreal or Clarins wipes
Simple that is a range in England is good it is just simple no added colourings, fragrances, it is natural and fresh.

Mary Kay eye makeup remover ingredients...?

Does anyone have the box? I need a list of all the ingredients. Couldn't find it online. Thank you.Mary Kay eye makeup remover ingredients...?

Baby oil or Vaseline, you can also try baby-wipes if you have these things around the house.

The commerical make-up removers should work.Help! I like lash blast but can't get it off. I've tried baby shampoo and one eye makeup remover.?
I know! I wore it yesterday after not having worn it for a month and that stuff really binds to the lash like nothing else! I use Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover and I used like 3 pads and it still left remnants of mascara! Even after I took a shower some of it was still on!

I really love Cover Girl's Lash Exact instead of Lash Blast. I find that Lash Blast is a bit clumpier, but Lash Exact really separates the lashes and doesn't leave any clumps. I've tried many...Smashbox, Mary Kay, Maybelline, etc. I always go back to Cover Girls Lash Exact!!!Help! I like lash blast but can't get it off. I've tried baby shampoo and one eye makeup remover.?
I have had the same problem... it looks so good but it just doesn't come off. I've been using those makeup remover wipes - I get all the makeup off my face, then actually run some water through the wipe so it's really soapy. That tends to work, it comes off in these weird..chunks, I guess you could say. If you dont' have access to those wipes, try Avon's brand or some Skin-so-soft, which removes everything.
Sorry this isn't answering your question, but where do you get ';lash blast';? Who makes it? I want it but dont know where to look, please e-mail me! Oh, by the way, I use clinique soap bar to get off waterproof mascara, that would probably work for you, you get it at the Clinique counter, or online at their store.
hold a wash cloth under hot water and then press and hold it on your lash line for about 5 seconds and then slowly rub it down and keep repeating that until it comes off. then use make up remover to get the rest off.
Try Neutrogena make up remover swipes in a light blue pkg at Walgreens @ $5.99 each plus tax. Removes even permanent mascara water proof.
thats exactly what i use. wash it with baby shampoo. and when it like, stays around your eye, use mineral oil. trust me.
mary kay eye make remover is pretty good for the price, lancome is better...
i get that with my chanel mascara its not waterproof but it dosent come off easily
    I don't have that problem.

Are you using the waterproof kind...?

    Best eye makeup remover?

I used to use Baby oil and it takes it off quite well, but it left the skin around my eyes feeling greasy and I didn't think my eyeliner and mascara stayed on as long. I started using Neutrogena oil free eye makeup remover and it works very well. No unpleasant odor or greasy feeling- makeup stays on great. (Sells for around $7-$8.) I've also used Mary Kay oil free eye makeup remover. It comes in a cute pink bottle, but works about the same. ($14 suggested retail available from Mary Kay independent beauty consultants.)Best eye makeup remover?

especially good if your eyes are sensitiveBest eye makeup remover?
i use purity face wash by philosophy as well, it takes off all make-up gently, even mascara, so i have no need for eye make-up remover.
after trying so much different stuff, I found the perfect eye makeup remover, if you really want to get rid of all eye makeup residue, use baby oil, there is nothing better, it is very inexpensive and works better than anything else in the market, it works even better than those eye make up removers that promise to remove even waterproof make up, if you do not believe me, try removing the make up in one eye with a regular eye make up remover and the other eye with baby oil, you will see the difference
I use Clean and Clear. It's very gentle and doesn't irritate my skin at all. If there are traces of eye makeup left, I'll use regular body lotion (lotion gets rid of makeup).
    get a wet tissue

or get tissues, wet it, and wipe it off

if you put on the kind that's hard to rub off, try using warm water
    almay:

    i love them!!

i wear contacts and heavy eyeliner and it takes off the eyeliner easily so i dont have to scrub. also i can take off makeup with my contacts on no burning or anything! :]
Bee Luscious Cosmetics, has a Holistic makeup remover that is natural and fantastic.
Purity made simple by Philosophy. It takes off the eye makeup so easily and its a cleanser.
DEFINITELY VASELINE. IT WON'T BURN YOUR EYES LIKE OTHER EYE MAKEUP REMOVERS AND IT LEAVES YOUR EYES SOFT =]
    Neutogena
I like using baby oil best for removing eye makeup. It is gentle and doesn't burn your eyes like a lot of eye makeup removers.

    Eye makeup remover??

is there anything that you usually have around the house that works as an eye makeup remover?Eye makeup remover??
Anything oil based will take off eye makeup. Just put some baby oil or mineral oil on a cottonball and carefully rub off the makeup. Be gentle or your eyelashes will come off also, you don't want that!Eye makeup remover??
i use these special eye makeup remover pads that work just to take off makeup. they're amazing. I'm sure you can get them at any drugstore or pharmacy. they're called ALMAY HYPO-ALLERGENIC NON-OILY EYE MAKEUP REMOVER PADS. get them!! i sometimes use soap and water too. if you keep your eyes shut, nothing happens.
waht i use is for my general make up remover is my acne pad things they have eye and face make up remover in it.

    easy
    petroleum jelly (vasaline)

I THINK I'VE HEARD ABOUT USING OLIVE OIL...BUT YOU CAN ALSO USE VASILINE AND/OR BABY OIL.

Anybody know of any good ones that are inexpensive %26amp; found in drug stores (WalMart, Target, KMart, CVS, etc.)?? And pref. not oily, but its ok if it is.Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover that actually works??
I use avon it's cheep and a little oily but around that time of the month I use Mary K it's not oily and works even better.

    RIMMEL london

    L'oreal.
Mary Kay is the best there is on the market
I swear by baby oil. It only takes a little bit, and it's cheap. Just use your regular facial cleanser afterward and you shouldn't feel oily.
don't waste your money on makeup removers... baby oil and a cotton ball will work just as well. just don't use too much and then use your regular cleanser after that.
    Clean %26amp; Clear Make-up remover
    Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover
    the blue clean and clear
Try Neutrogena's...it feels oily but it's oil-free. Rimmel's works on regular mascara, and L'Oreal's doesn't even remove THEIR waterproof mascara!!
baby oil will disolve it, its really cheap too.

Clinique or Lancome EYE MAKEUP REMOVER?

    which one is the best

must get off waterproof eyelinerClinique or Lancome EYE MAKEUP REMOVER?
LancomeClinique or Lancome EYE MAKEUP REMOVER?
    clinique!!
    Clinique all the way.
Lancome has the best eyemakeup remover that I have tried! Clinique is not bad but in my opinion Lancome works better.
i am in love with clinique. their stuff is amazing and works great. it is also good for you skin.
I'm not familiar with either of these products. However, as long as you use an eye makeup remover that does not contain mineral oil, you're OK. Mineral oil is too large to penetrate the pores of our skin, so it sits on the top layer like saran. If your eye makeup remover has mineral oil, it's going to look and feel oily. Plus, if you want to redo your eye makeup, this will cause it to smudge or run. Get a good water based product that will penetrate the dermis for maximum benefit.
    as Ive heard; its LANCOME
Neither. Almay has 2 kinds, one oil base one that is oil free. The oil free works better than any other makeup remover I have useed for removing waterproof eye products without leaving any residue behind or causing a reaction in your eye.
Clinique has a great natural eye make-up remover...I live by it...if you want a total make-up remover...i recommend Estee Lauder...but just for eyes...the Clinique All Natural Eye Make-up Remover... it's in the green tube...it's oil-free and won't clog your pores.
    most definitley clinique

The person who wrote the Body Shopp makeup remover, is soo right. I bought it today, and it's great. Expensive, but very worth it. Report Abuse

I don't know about ';soapy'; ones, but I use Rimmel London's eye make-up remover and it's just like using water (but 100X better) =).

    and it's $4.95 =D
Use Loreal's but I have to tell you that all of these removers contain some oil or silicone and that is why they feel oily.
Purity by Philosophy or Bare Essentials, they are both amazing! There is NO oily feeling, it's just the opposite!

The purity you use as a face wash and make-up remover and the Bare Essentials is an eye make-up remover. It is clear on top and blue on the bottom, it's a liquid, you shake it before use and put on a tissue or cotton swab. It will seperate again in time, it's supposed to and you just shake before each use. They are both amazing and neither of them will sting or hurt your eyes which is a BIG plus!

You can get them at Sephora, QVC, or at each of the company's websites. You can also check drugstore.com, they may have them too.
Noxzema is a good makeup remover. It will clean

I tried and LOOOVE mary kay eye make up remover.. I dont use any other Mary Kay products but this WORKS wonders.. I had the same problem

    Good luck
I used to use the ';Take the Day Off'; makeup remover from Clinique, which was awesome, and then I found the Neutogena oil free makeup remover which is almost the exact same thing at half the price. I use the waterproof mascara and this stuff takes it right off without being harsh. I used to use just plain baby oil, but this doesn't leave an oily residue. Even better, I can find the Neutrogena in my grocery store and don't have to make a special trip to the mall!
don't use nail polish remover it will Blind you, you can buy eye make up remover at most drug stores go for the no-name brands they work just as good but there cheaper. Apply to the eye make up and repeat until its gone
cold cream is good, i personally use yves rocher's eye remover makeup which is really good..
I use the neutragina eye make up remover. its safe to use with contacts in. I love the stuff!
Mary Kay is by far my favorite but you have to buy it through a brand rep. However, it works WONDERS for waterproof.

The Maybelline remover works but it's very oily and I hate how it feels afterwards.
i like Mary kay eye makeup remover
I like ';Take the Day Off'; by Clinique. It's also really good for removing lipstick.
I would say Lancome's pretty famous and effective. You can check out the source for more information and review.
Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover works really well for me. It only costs $5 - $7.

    Eye Makeup Remover?

I always have trouble getting the last bit of eye makeup out from under my eyes, where it always runs by the end of the day. Can somebody reccomend a really good eye makeup remover?Eye Makeup Remover?
True, baby oil is really good because it's super gentle on your eyes. It also helps moisturize against future wrinkles! :) The Clinique range is also good but it's quite expensive so I'd still recommend good old Baby Oil!Eye Makeup Remover?
I usually just use wet wipes then a good body wash in the shower. That usually gets rid of it all.
    Vaseline....accept no substitutes
Use Coconut oil or a baby oil
do you know anyone that sells Mary Kay? it is marvelous, I would buy 4 at a time. either share one if I needed a quick gift, or to make sure I never ran out, which ever came first.
Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Make up Remover is the best! I have tried many and they always burn or leave my eyes feeling greasy. Mary Kay is gentle on the eyes yet removes even waterproof mascara and it is oil free.

Sorry to hear your eye make up runs by the end of the day maybe you should try other MK products they are water resistant and smudge proof.
Good old fashioned cold cream, just smooth it on leave for a minute then gently remove with a warm wet face washer.
I'm a beauty consultant on a cruise ship. The best eye make remover I've ever tried is Lancome Bi Facil. It's so gentle, it doesn't sting your eyes, but it'll get off even the most stubborn waterproof mascara. It's a bit pricey but it lasts ages.
There are so many option out there but I find that nothing is better than oil-based cleansers to get the last bit of makeup off.

You should check out http://www.makeup-diversity.org where there are quite a few makeup girls who can help you out with your questions and even recommend the best makeup remover whether you buy it from a store or make one yourself!
    Sephora is the best!
    PONDS cold cream
    baby oil, baby
Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Make up Remover is the best!

I need to get some more myself!
For light, everyday eye make-up try Clarins Gentle Eye Make-up Remover .This refreshing floral-based lotion soothes and softens. Gentle Eye Make-up Remover was formulated to be as gentle as eyedrops. Suitable for those with sensitive eyes or contact lenses.

It thoroughly eliminates eye make-up. Revitalizes and refreshes.

    Helps prevent moisture-loss. Strengthens eyelashes.
ive tried babyoil and it really works! its great,i also use a moisturiser which also removesmakeup. dont no wot its called but u can get it from boots

--i wear WATERPROOF eyeliner and mascara, i need something that will take off even the hardest to remove makeup

--i need something that will not TUG AT MY EYELASHES,they have tendancy to fall out easily

--i also have very severe acne prone skin.Which CLINIQUE EYE-MAKEUP REMOVER works the best?
take the day off in the purple container is THEE best eye makeup remover ever!!!!!!!!!!!Which CLINIQUE EYE-MAKEUP REMOVER works the best?
sounds like take the day off would be more effective, as the other one is described as ';gentle';. but personally i like estee Lauder ... or however you spell that. Tugging at your eyelashes is probably based on how hard you wipe your eyes. Acne shouldn't be a huge problem, as its usually not right around the eye area
I use Neutrogena eye makeup remover. Works great. I havae thin eyelashes and don't want to lose any either
try shu uemura cleansing oil, i love that stuff
Get the eye make up remover from Lancome...it is by far the best!!

    L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Refreshing Eye Makeup Remover, Oil-Free

It is awesome! a little expensive (like $6 for 4 oz) but it is so worth it. It takes all the makeup off in one clean swipe, no oily residue, no burning eyes, no eyelash loss, no racoon eyes and no rinsingEye makeup remover- favorite and tips?
Merle Norman has some great eye make-up remover. I usually just shake it with my finger over it and use my finger to massage in remover. It's not as harsh. Then wash my face with a good all over cleanser like Clean and Clear with the microbeads. That usually gets all the makeup off. Then I go over my face with a toner on a cotton ball to make sure all is off.
vasaline is safe. put a thin layer on your face and use an astrigent ( mild) to remove it, it will also smooth your face.
    water
    i just use baby oil ( =
my favorite eye make up remover is the one by Mary Kay, it works so well and really fast and gentle. if youre losing eyelashes its probably because youre rubbing too hard, try light smooth strokes.
I use that Neutrogena (I think) stuff. It's a little oily feeling and it's best to wash your face after you use it.

Water also helps with the process.

The grey can be wiped off with your fingers too.
No matter what I use, I get it under the eyes, so I moisten a cotton swab and run it under the lashes, from the inner eye, out.

No dingy smudges, and my eye is perfectly lined with anything I didn't get off.

I don't rub so hard. I'd rather leave a bit on than lose my lashes.
clinique make-up remover is WONDERFUL!!! I love it...it takes one swipe and its off
First, I would suggest not using waterproof mascara or if you do try one that is botanically based or mineral based - such as Bare Escentuals, Arbonne or Origins. These are not so harsh on your lashes and you will probably not have as many lashes fall out.

As for eye makeup remover, I use either Arbonne's makeup remover or Sweet Almond Oil (you can pick it up at your local health food store, Whole Foods or Wild Oats). Supposedly this is what Jackie O used to remove her makeup at night. Another tip is to keep all natural, alcohol free baby wipes on hand. These can be great to use in a pinch or when traveling. They are also great for getting makeup off your clothes!

When you use eye makeup remover, use a cotton pad and do not rub your eyes - this will irritate your eyes and can also cause lashes to fall out. Be gentle!

    Good luck!! :)

p.s. I am NOT affiliated with any particular makeup or skin care line at this time.

Fresh Soy face cleanser is the best! It is a little pricey but it's the only thing I've ever used that completely removes mascara. I think they have it at Sephora.
I use waterproof mascara a lot when I go swimming. I use the walmart brand makeup wipes.. They work really well and lower cost then other brands! Hope this helps!
Baby Oil %26amp; Lotion both work well for waterproof makeup.

Maybelline %26amp; Rimmel both have good makeup removers; they both have specific ones for waterproof makeup, and regular makeup.
Bobbi Brown eye make up remover is good. Takes off my waterproof liner and macara. Only downside...it's $20.00.
Yes but you will have to spend some Ca-Ching! Go to a Estee Lauder make-up counter they have an excellent one. In the mean time a warm wet wash cloth and Ponds cold cream or petroleum jelly should do it. Good Luck!

It may be kind of expensive, but I use the Clinique brand. It really works, but it makes my face feel greasy afterwords. I usually wash my face after I use the remover, and it's fine. But it gets rid of all the makeup without much effort!
the most inexpensive thing i have found to work wonderful is vasoline. you can also get the store brand for a buck cheaper. it works great and it isnt harsh on your eyes. hope this helps.
I love Avon's eye makeup remover...not only does it work, but it's relatively cheap (you can catch it on sale for .99 if you're lucky)!
I use Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser.

It's a makeup remover and a cleanser in one. It takes off waterproof mascara and eyeliner really well. I love it!
go to a pharmacy and buy make up remover

  • Clinique of almay pad eye makeup remover?

Are you asking Clinique OR Almay?

I have extremely sensitive eyes, prone to contact allergies. I've been using the Almay ones for awhile and love them. Takes all the makeup off, no greasiness afterwards. Cheaper %26amp; easier to find than Clinique, too.Clinique of almay pad eye makeup remover?
ive used many types of makeup remover over the years, and my favorite made the purpous is revlon

however, the best makeup remoer is baby oil!!! it makes it slide right off, it doesnt taste too nasty if you accidently get some in your mouth when washing off lip liner and it doesnt sting if you get it in your eyes. it also works great to getoff water proof maskara which is insane to get off with most makeup removers

    Suggestion for eye makeup remover?

could u gals pls suggest a good option as to how to remove eye makeup properly..i don wanna spend on makeuop remover..ne other optionsSuggestion for eye makeup remover?
    Okay:

Ist of all, Soap is Absolutly HORRIBLE for your face. Because its ingredients are so dry related it dryes out all the nessesary minerals of your skin. It may be hard to belive but skin needs the oil. So in other words, by washing with soap you are preparing your skin for wrinkles. Specially in that really sensitive eye area.

Second, while baby oil does the job it leaves a build up or residue which can be ultimately harmful to your skin. I actually used it for some time and got this ugly rash right under my eyes. So i do not recommend it at all.

What I do recommend is AVON Eye make up Remover Lotion

    http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?s鈥?/a>

This stuff is amazing! It takes it off super fast and leaves your eys mousturized. Plus its on sale at all the AVON Catalogs for about $1.99.

go light on the make up for starters. use a gentle cleanser recommended by your dermatologist. i use lotion on a cotton ball to remove mascara.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I paid $2.99 at my local grocery store for an 8.5 oz bottle. It works great, is gentle, and doesn't clog my pores.
    eyes are Very sensitive area

you can use fresh unboiled milk in a cotton and gently remove your eye make up.

    Eye Makeup Remover?

What is the best eye makeup remover? I have clean and clear but it stings my eyes and make the skin red and tender. I need one that really gets off eyeliner. Price doesnt really matter, just need suggestions. FYI, I use Mac Cosmetics.

    Thanks!!!Eye Makeup Remover?
I've learned that using baby oil is the best thing. It was an old trick that my mom used to use during halloween to remove our face paint for the night. Not only does it remove it easily, it also leaves your skin feeling very silky as well. Try it and let me know what you think.Eye Makeup Remover?
Vichy has a good one out. with rose and milk for soothing the skin so it won't erratate. in rund 20 dollars
    rimmel eye makeup remover
You should try Pro Eye Makeup Remover from Mac Cosmetics. Included the link for it below. Hopes this helps.
what i have been using for years is Noxema,

for makeup removal including mascara, and it keeps your

skin feeling soft, and it helps reduce acne.
wipe it with a tissue or a q-tip
the face cleanser face wipes type thing take make up off best - it gets everything off and doesnt sting
I like the one Lancome puts out or even Clinique. Both clean real well as well as moisturize which is important to me. Either one does not sting and are both very gentle.
I use Ponds cold cream. I remove my makeup with it and wash my face with it its great
    Use Moisturiser.

    That Works For Me.

    Its Not Expensive.

    Goodluck
I have seen a person use baby lotion to remove their make-up, it worked too.
i have this stuff its amazing it Avon moisture effective eye makeup remover lotion.

you just put some on a q-tip and like magic its gone.
Lancomes Bi-Facil, nothing compares. No burning or watery eyes.
Honestly, Vaseline does the trick really well. It doesn't sting and won't dry out the area around your eyes. Just apply enough to cover the eye, then rinse with warm water and a washcloth. You could also use a cotton ball soaked in baby oil, for sensitive skin.
Nivea eye make up remover - anywhere between $6.00 - 9.00 in Aussie stores.

I've used it for years - no stinging, very gentle and gets it all off.
I just use lotion and a q-tip or Vaseline. Which ever is handy.

    *Rachel*
    Lancome Bi-facil.

the best eye make up remover HAND down.

it removes even the toughest mascaras. even waterproof ones.

use one for sensitive eyes. it leaves a slight oily film which hydrates the area around the eyes.
I like almay's makeup remover pads. That is all I use on my eyes and I love them. Don't get the moisurizing ones b/c they are too greasy.
So glad you're asking this! I found that any kind of eye make up remover from a drug store or Target, tend to make your eyes sting, because that's exactly what happens to me. Something that I liked a lot was a product by DHC. It was gentle to my eyes, and got the make up off really good. Another score that I liked was Body Time's oil make up remover. That works great also! They're natural and won't sting your eyes!

I really hope I could help! Good luck and shine on!
I have been useing this eye make up remover and i love it . It doesnt sting your eyes or skin. Here go to www.marketamerica.com/yourcybermall. Select cosmetics then scroll down and select eye makep remover

    Sure hope this helps.
I had the same problem untill my mom bought me this very good stuff that takes of all your makeup! you would probolay think that the makeup you take off with this stuff was never there because this stuff goes deep into your skin and gets all the old makeup that soaked in your skin out!

It is called Mary Kay and it is oil free.

I think you can get it at walmart or a pharmacy.

    best of wishes!
Estee Lauder makes a tissue off or wipes remover that is very good though a bit pricey.

Trader Joes has a great all-over makeup remover available in travel cloth packs. They are about $3.99

I found for myself using one for the whole face works best for me. Sometimes the eye removers make the skin dry or worse - you encourage wrinkles by pulling at the skin more than needed.

P.S. Mac has some ingredients that cause allergies in some people. Have you looked at Clarins eye makeup? They have a very beautiful brown that is easy to remove but stays in place all day.
wipe it with a baby wipe or buy a tissue made for eye makeup remover so buy it from rite aid or duenere etc.
try mineral oil.. just put some on a tissue or paper towel %26amp; close your eyes %26amp; wipe. it should come off pretty easily. once you got most of it off, wash everything off with soap %26amp; water.
NEUTROGENA! It works great, I use it every night and it's oil-free, too. It comes in a purple bottle. You can find it at Target stores.

I use lancome or clique which ever works good.
i use clinique`s ';clean the day off'; makeup remover.

    it`s the best.
tried and true trick: a little Crisco on your cotton swab. it gets off EVERYTHING (including shishiedo, which we pay gobs of money for precisely because of its staying power) and is a great moisturizer for the delicate eye area.

just a word of warning: if you wear contacts, take them out before using this trick.
Use regular facial cream. Put some on a tissue, and then wipe off whatever make-up you have. Works great for me. :)
Ponds makes these great cleansing towelettes that are great for taking off make up ( i wear MAC too), an added bonus is that they clean the rest of your face too to get off the dirt and grime from the day.

this is the kind i use:
