Most eye makeup removers are oil-free and you really shouldn't have to worry about them on the rest of your face or cloging pores. However it is not enough to clean to rest of your skin. The eye make not a cleanser (you do not need a cleanser for your eyes because your eylids do not have pores) the remover will just break up the make up on your eyes so it can be wiped off gently.(It doesn't actually clean.) So on the rest of your skin the eyemakeup remover can ';break up'; the makeup but that can be a little pricy since you'll still need a cleanser! I am a cosmetologist. Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
it would be ok as long as you wash it off and not leave it on as it may clog your pores. ive used eye makeup remover on my face because i had no makeup wipes left and i had no problems. Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
yes why not,but is it costly
Yes, it is gentle so it won't hurt the skin. It may be a bit heavy and could clog pores. But maybe not.
Eye makeup remover tends to be very greasy. If you use this on your skin, it will cause oiliness.
It should be fine unless you have very oily or very sensitive skin. Otherwise it will not cause a problem...because it is made for the most delicate skin on your face which is around your eyes.
Yes, it can remove makeup around delicate eye areas and it can surely remove makeup on the rest of the face. If you are using those oil+water ones, remember to cleanse your face with a facial cleanser afterwards, you dont want the oil to clog your pores.
use Vaseline, it feels greasy but the molecules in it are larger than our pores so it wont be absorbed into the skin, and its alot cheaper. Just wipe it off when your done, oh an use a small amount
