Sometimes, I'm having a hard times when my eyeliner smudges at the middle of the day... if i'm at home, i can just use eye makeup remover on tips and tap it on the smudges... but if i'm not at home,, i'm totally freaked out because it def. looks disgusting...
so how do you guys solve this?? i mean,, DON'T SAY ';USE REVLON COLORSTAY'; or that kind of things.. because basically i'm using revlon colorstay and it rarely smudges.. but sometimes,, when i sweat or whatsoever, it leaves a black spot or dot under my eyes...
so the question will be : DO YOU BRING EYE MAKEUP REMOVER IN YOUR PURSE just in case your eyeliner smudges???Do you bring eye makeup remover in your purse??
i do bring my makeup remover with me sometimes but i have a small bottle that can fit in my pursee then just use it wen u go into the bathroom.Do you bring eye makeup remover in your purse??
i carry two folded up makeup remover pads (the round soft ones), soaked in makeup remover, in a little container that use to have lip balm in it. it's easy, cheap and never leaks. you don't need to worry about trying to use tissues with your makeup remover either.
you can also buy packets of makeup remover wipes, or cue tips with makeup remover in the stems, but i find them a bit bulky and expensive.
revlon has the product called the makeup eraser pen, which looks like a pen, but it has makeup remover in it. it is so easy to use, but it leaves oily residue, so you need to have tissues to wipe off where you used it a little bit.
it is really great and i think they have it for a discount at publix, yay!
just remember revlon makeup eraser pen!
Well me personally i put makeup on in the AM and take it off at night and it stays ALL day. That's the benefit of using quality products. Maybe you should change your products or look into using waterproof products or wearing eye primer. If you want to carry makeup remover then that's cool too. Just pack some q-tips to only remove what you want and some foundation to touch of the foundation. Click the link below to see great products that last.
use a liquid liner maybe
i dont like colorstay :P i use elizabeth arden for my eyeliners (pencil) and never have to re-touch now
i keep cleansing wipes in my bag incase anything smudges or i spill something! or its hot! just good to have, you can always wrap them around a pen tip, for precision and then dispose of the wipe, pen back in bag haha
hope this helps hey
No I don't, it I have a makeup emergency I go to the bathroom, wet a paper towel a little bit and wipe it, then wipe it with a dry part of the paper towel to take it off. It's not the softest option but I don't want to carry a bottle of makeup remover on me I carry enough stuff as it is!
I bring these great little things made by Bare Escentuals called on the spot. They are q-tips filled with a little bit of eye make up remover. If I find a smudge I just break the top to release the liquid to the cotton and fix them. Here is a link to them:

Actually I bring the makeup, not the makeup remover lol cause I'm constantly retouching my eyeliner. I know what you mean cause mine always smudges too. I touch it up a lot and basically just use my finger to take the smudges away.
No I don't, if your eyeliner smudges take your pinky finger and wet it and rub it right under your eye it comes off, I do it all the time.
a good beauty tip is to bring q-tips and unscented lotion!
it works better than eye make up remover!
do mine?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
no i usually just bring the eyeliner itself and touch-up throughout the day
I take q tips in my purse....wet a lil and clean off the smudge! i dont know if ur into bare minerals but they have q tips with make up remover in them which is totally cool for on the go!!!
No I don't bring eye makeup remover in my purse.
no i never wear make up.
no b/c my makeup never smudges (i have dry skin)...
I used to and I really really don't recommend it! Because I use a lot of waterproof makeup I need really strong makeup removers to get it off, so my Maybelline Eye Makeup Remover is actually oil-based which is actually very useful. But one day I was carrying it in my NEW bag and I didn't shut the lid properly and it spilled in my bag... oily gunk everywhere. Not very nice.
My eyeliner/eyeshadow/mascara smudges as well. What I do is bring a mirror in my bag so I can check every so often, and usually the black smudges disappear with a wipe of my finger. I think I've actually mastered the eyebag-finger-sweep action enough to do it without a mirror! It works perfectly fine, although you do need to check every few hours or so.

Mary Kay. But I'm biased I'm an MK consultantMary-kay vs clinique EYE MAKEUP REMOVER!!!?
I'm gonna go with neither, lol... I used to buy expensive ones from Macy's and none of them worked super well, and I went to shopko one day and bought they neutrogena eye makeup remover, i swear to god, get a cottonball moist with it, and you can rub it off completly so fast! It's amazing, definatly try it though, like 6 bucks!
Mary Kay is the best!
mary kay has the #1 eye makeup remover and is good for removing waterproof eye makeup
neither. mary kay is too oily and clinique isn't efficient for waterproof makeups. i use lancome. :)
clinique probably is the best
I personally LOVE the Mary Kay remover, hands down.. I've also used neutrogena, oil of olay, you name it, but MK was by far the best.. believe me, I've tried them all!! Hope that helps :)
Clinique
I used to buy expensive ones too. Now I moisten the cottonball with water and use J%26amp;J baby shampoo. It takes all the makeup off and doesn't sting my eyes like the remove did.

Problem with eye makeup remover?
i only wear eyeliner and mascara, but at the end of the day when i try to remove it some always gets in my eye somehow and makes my vision all fuzzy. i am worried that this might permanently ruin my vision or damage it so what should i do? yesterday i tried cold cream but that also got in my eye and fuzzed up my vision even worse!
and i cant just squeeze my eyes shut really hard because that way my eyelids will touch eachother and hide the eyeliner and mascara i want to remove
help please!
(ps. when it got into my eye last night i just put in eyedrops and i wake up with no problems, but its still very irritating every night when i have to blink constantly to see)Problem with eye makeup remover?
im recently using almay [#1 eye makeup remover] and i close my eyes and swipe down its so easy %26amp;non irritating!:D

I would recommend using Jojoba oil to remove makeup it's really soft on the eyes.

Ps - Don't forget to watch Inglorious Bastards , Directed by Quentin Tarantino. Starring Brad Pitt. In theater's this Friday! August 21, 2009.
Check out the Trailer - http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3738173…
i also wear mascara and eye liner and i had the same problem, but the best way i learned to do it was using make-up removing cloths. it is a lot safer than cold cream or liquid remover. i only use the liquid removers for when i need to get the dark circles from under my eyes caused by the mascara.....good luck!
I know this might sound weird but it works really well.
put baby oil on a cotton ball and use that to remove the mascara and eyeliner. it works perfectly and then just rinse off with water

Eyes had a reaction to eye makeup remover...can i still wear my contacts?
ok a few days ago i had an allergic reaction to a new brand of eye makeup remover (it was the equate walmart brand NEVER buy it)..and my eyes were all red and burning and sore, so i left my contacts for a couple days...right now they feel mostly better, just a tinyyy bit sore and red....but i'm going out tonight with friends and i refuse to wear my glasses out (they're a massive prescription....a 12 if that means anything to you).....would it be doing any harm to just wear my contacts for 3 or 4 hours?Eyes had a reaction to eye makeup remover...can i still wear my contacts?
This happened to me, but with clear eyes wal-mart brand. I went with out my contacts for about 4 or 5 days (and it sucked). Then I put in my contacts and it was fine. I think you should be ok to wear your contacts again. If you put them in and they burn, then you might have to go with your glasses. Hope this helps.hair pieces

I spilled eye-makeup remover on my laptop?
So I spilled some oily eye makeup remover on the outside of my macbook, and it seemed fine after I wiped off as much as I could from the outside. I didn't clean out the inside til a few hours later because I assumed none had gotten inside. It seemed fine and everything works OK, but i have two large black spots on the side of my screen and I don' know if i is wet inside there or if my screen is ruined? I don't know if it's possible to fix and I bought it about 10 months ago, what should i do?I spilled eye-makeup remover on my laptop?
Return it to Apple. Explain what happened. It should be covered under warranty. Be honest.
The screen is ruined. Most like the chemical in the remover penetrated the screen and damaged the LCD. Nothing you can do but have the screen replaced. Oil and Liquid Crystal Displays don't mix well.I spilled eye-makeup remover on my laptop?
You know, the laptop screen is not a mirror! Try removing your makeup on the bathroom over the sink like normal people.Anyway, there are good computer deals for memorial day.
You should be under warranty. Get a replacement.

Why is my eye makeup remover irritating my eyes?
I'm not allergic to anything, but it's oil-free store brand (publix).... Does that have anything to do with it??? Please help! I don't want to use it again till I find out what it is?!?!?!?!?!?Why is my eye makeup remover irritating my eyes?
don't even waste money on makeup remover. its no good for your skin and it burns and its just a big waste.
use vaseline, that's what I do.
just close your eye and put some vaseline on with your finger and then get a damp towel or some toilet paper to wipe it off. the makeup comes right off. it never burns as long as you close your eyes...
but make sure you wipe off all the vaseline before putting on new makeup because if you put makeup over some vaseline residue the new make up won't stay on at allWhy is my eye makeup remover irritating my eyes?
Something in the remover is obviously causing you to have a allergic reaction. A Pharmacist may be able to look at the ingredients %26amp; give you an answer. A Dermatologist can also give you an answer. Stop using it by all means %26amp; cleanse your face with a facial wash or whatever you're using on the rest of your face.
I sometimes get that. but now i have switched to make up reamover for sensitive skin, it really helps i reccomend the johnsons one. :)
maybe you are putting it too near your eyes.
like eyeliner, if you put it on the exact bottom lid, it folds into your eye and touches it.
if your eyeshadow is dusty, it will go into your eye before you even put finishing touches to your makeup.
mascara goes in it if you blink alot whilst putting it on.
if you use anyother eye makeup im sure there is a reason, just ask!!
:)
go to makeupalley.com
before you buy any products you can see what other peoples reviews are. and they actually rate the products. so its pretty neat.
you might be allergic or i could be going to close to your eyes!

Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
Most eye makeup removers are oil-free and you really shouldn't have to worry about them on the rest of your face or cloging pores. However it is not enough to clean to rest of your skin. The eye make not a cleanser (you do not need a cleanser for your eyes because your eylids do not have pores) the remover will just break up the make up on your eyes so it can be wiped off gently.(It doesn't actually clean.) So on the rest of your skin the eyemakeup remover can ';break up'; the makeup but that can be a little pricy since you'll still need a cleanser! I am a cosmetologist. Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
it would be ok as long as you wash it off and not leave it on as it may clog your pores. ive used eye makeup remover on my face because i had no makeup wipes left and i had no problems. Can we use eye makeup remover for our face makeup? is it ok for the skin?
yes why not,but is it costly
Yes, it is gentle so it won't hurt the skin. It may be a bit heavy and could clog pores. But maybe not.
Eye makeup remover tends to be very greasy. If you use this on your skin, it will cause oiliness.
It should be fine unless you have very oily or very sensitive skin. Otherwise it will not cause a problem...because it is made for the most delicate skin on your face which is around your eyes.
Yes, it can remove makeup around delicate eye areas and it can surely remove makeup on the rest of the face. If you are using those oil+water ones, remember to cleanse your face with a facial cleanser afterwards, you dont want the oil to clog your pores.
use Vaseline, it feels greasy but the molecules in it are larger than our pores so it wont be absorbed into the skin, and its alot cheaper. Just wipe it off when your done, oh an use a small amount
